Money and payouts
Payouts
How card money reaches your bank account, and where to check what was paid out.
Card payments on getpos are handled by Surfboard Payments. They pay the money from your card sales out to your business's bank account, under the agreement you signed when you got ready to take card payments.
Where the money goes
When you switched to real payments, you added the bank account for payouts and agreed the card fees on Surfboard Payments' page, and signed with BankID. Payouts go to that account. How often you are paid, and the fees, follow that agreement, so they can differ from one business to another.
Cash never goes through a payout: it is in your drawer. Payments in demo mode are simulated, so nothing is paid out for them.
Check what was paid out
- Ask the assistant in Help. It can look up your own payouts, settlement reports and transactions, for example "was Tuesday's card money paid out?".
- On the till, Reports shows the day's sales by payment method, and every Z report lists card sales for the shift. Settlement reports for card payments come from Surfboard Payments.
A payout does not always match one day on the till. The Z report covers your shift, while a payout covers card payments once they have settled, with the card fees taken off. If the numbers look different, the assistant can show which sales are in which payout.
If a payout looks wrong or is missing
- Ask the assistant in Help to look up the payout and the sales in it.
- Check that the bank account on your agreement is right.
- If it still does not add up, the assistant can draft a support ticket for you to check and send. See Get help and support.
We cannot promise a payout day or a fee here: those are in your agreement, and support can check your own case.
