Pack and send webshop orders

Find new webshop orders on the till or in the builder, pack them, mark them sent or ready for pickup, write to the customer and refund.

A paid webshop order shows up on the till and in the builder. You pack it, then mark it sent or ready for pickup, and the customer gets an email at each step.

On the till

The rail button Webshop shows how many orders are waiting to pack. Press it to open Webshop orders, with the tabs To pack, Waiting for pickup, Sent and collected and All.

Open an order to see its Packing list. Then:

  • Show the customer's details shows the name, address and phone. Only signed-in staff can open them, and each time is noted in the shop's log.
  • For delivery, press Mark as sent. Fill in the Carrier, the Tracking number and, if you have one, the Tracking link (optional). Keep Email the customer ticked so they get the tracking.
  • For pickup, press Ready for pickup when it is packed, and Collected when the customer has it.
  • Undo the last step takes back a step pressed by mistake.
  • Print packing slip prints the order to put in the parcel.

In the builder

In the top bar, open Orders and the tab Webshop orders. Filter by To pack, To collect, Sent, Not paid or All, and open an order to see it in a drawer. From there you can:

  • Mark as sent, with carrier and tracking.
  • Write to the customer. The message goes out in your shop's look.
  • Send the confirmation again.
  • Refund (owners only): all of it or an amount. The money goes back to the card that paid, usually within a few days.

The customer's address is only on the till, where you pack.

Emails the customer gets

  • Order confirmation, when they have paid.
  • On its way, with the tracking link. For PostNord, Bring, DHL, UPS and Posti the link is made from the tracking number. For other carriers, paste the link.
  • Ready to collect.
  • Refund.
  • Your own message.

When a customer replies, it reaches the contact email under Webshop, Words and contact in the builder. See Sell online with a webshop.
