Getting started

Build and change your till with the assistant

How to change your till by writing to the assistant, sending screenshots, pointing at a part of the screen or editing the canvas directly.

The assistant changes your till from plain words. Write what you want, send a screenshot of your old till, or point at a part of the screen, and the till changes beside the chat. Every reply becomes a new version, so nothing is ever lost.

Ask for a change

  1. Open your till from Your tills. The chat is on the left.
  2. Write the change, for example "Make the buttons bigger" or "Ask for a tip on the terminal after card tap". The suggestions under Quick changes are a good start.
  3. Watch the till on the canvas. The reply lists what changed.

If you do not like it, press Undo on the reply. That brings back the version before, saved as a new version.

Make it look like your old till

Press the paperclip (Attach screenshots or photos) and add screenshots of your current till or photos of your menu. Then write what should change to match. The assistant reads the layout, colours and products from the pictures.

To take colours, logo and icon from your website, use Brand from website under Design, Look.

Point at a part of the till

In Select mode, click a region on the canvas, such as the product grid or the payment buttons. Press Ask in the small toolbar, and your next message is about that region only. Switch to Try to use the till as a cashier would, for example to ring up a test sale.

Edit directly

You do not have to use the chat. On the canvas you can drag a region to move it, drag the gaps to resize, and press Add to put in a picture, text, favourites or another building block. Make a phone layout arranges a screen for phones.

When the till cannot do it yet

Sometimes the assistant builds the closest thing and lists what is Not in the till yet. Press Request it to ask getpos for it: the most-asked pieces are built first. For some small things you can press Build it, and the assistant makes a module that passes a safety check before you press Attach to the till. A module never touches payments, prices or card data.

Good to know

  • Once your till has an address, each new version goes live there straight away, from the chat as well as from Save. See Publish and go live.
  • Version history in the top bar lets you preview, restore or roll back any earlier version.
