Campaign prices
Give a product a lower price on chosen days and hours, like an afternoon deal, which the till uses by itself.
A campaign price lowers a product's price on the days and hours you choose. The till switches it on and off by itself, so cashiers do nothing.
How to set it up
- Open the product under Products.
- Under Campaign price, press Add a campaign.
- Give it a name that staff will recognise on the till, such as "Afternoon fika".
- Pick the kind: Percent off, then the percent, or Campaign price, then the new price.
- Tap the days it runs. All days are on from the start.
- Set From and To. Leave them as they are for all day.
- Save and publish.
You can add more than one campaign to a product, for example a lunch price and a weekend price.
On the till
While a campaign runs, the product's button and the ticket use the campaign price. If your till has a campaign strip, it shows the campaign too. When the time is up, the regular price is back.
Good to know
- With sizes, the campaign lowers the product's price and each size keeps its difference on top.
- A campaign on the product wins over one on its whole category.
- Campaigns made for several products, for example by the assistant, also show here and say Also covers other products. Removing it from this product leaves it running for the others.
- You also find campaign prices under Rules, as a happy hour or price list.
- The guest menu shows the regular price, not the campaign price.
- Open-price products cannot have a campaign price.
