Goes well with
Suggest up to six products the till offers with one tap right after a product goes on the order, like a bun with the coffee.
"Goes well with" turns a single coffee into coffee and a bun. You pick products that pair with this one, and the till offers them as one-tap buttons right after it goes on the order.
How to set it up
- Open the product under Products.
- Under Goes well with, choose Add a product… and pick one from the list.
- Add up to six. Tap a name to open that product, or the × to take it off.
- Save and publish.
The On the till preview at the bottom of the page lists what the till will offer.
On the till
After the cashier adds the product, a Goes well with row appears under the ticket with a button for each suggestion and its price. One tap adds it. Products already on the ticket are left out.
The row stays until the next line goes on, so it never gets in the way.
On the guest menu
When guests order from their phones, the same suggestions show after they add the product, up to three at a time. Products that are not sold on guests' phones, or not for the guest's eat in or take away choice, are left out.
Good to know
- If you delete a product, it is taken off every "goes well with" list too.
- Suggestions are one way. If the bun should suggest coffee as well, add that on the bun.
