Import your menu

You do not have to type your menu. Under Products, the side panel has Bring your own menu with three ways in: a file, photos, or typing.

From a file

1. Open Products and press Upload a file.
2. Pick an Excel file (.xlsx, .xls) or a CSV. Most old tills can export one.
3. The first sheet is read. It needs one row per product and a heading row.
4. Check what was found, then press Add to the menu, or Discard.

These headings are found, in English or Swedish:

• Name: name, product, item, namn, produkt, artikel, vara
• Price: price, pris, amount, belopp (required)
• Category: category, kategori, group, grupp, avdelning
• VAT: vat, moms
• Article number: sku, artikelnummer, ean, streckkod

Prices like 45, 45,00 and 1 234,50 all work. A row without a category goes under "General", and a row without VAT gets 25 %.

From photos

1. Press From photos and pick up to ten photos of your menu board or price list.
2. The assistant reads them and groups the products under the headings it sees. This takes a moment.
3. Check the list, then press Add to the menu.

The VAT rate is a guess from the kind of product, and a line with several sizes becomes one product per size. Look through both afterwards.

Type it in

Type it in adds a new product, one at a time, with sizes and choices.

After the import

• An import adds to what is there. It does not remove your current products.
• Imported products have a fixed price and no sizes or choices. Add those per product: see Sizes and choices.
• Check VAT, then save and publish.
